Today started the distribution of shoes in Sango Bay in earnest. All in all, Emeli, Kathrine and Ida had bought 5473 pairs of shoes in different sizes, so there was plenty to address in order to get the distribution arranged. Fortunately, both police officers and Red Cross staff is very committed to the task, so it got off to a flying start. Kathrine and Emeli were involved in the process throughout the day, were approximately 1000 pairs of shoes were handed out. Red Cross continues the process the next few days until all shoes are distributed to the 1000's of families who have been expelled from Tanzania and live an otherwise quite hopeless existence in refugee tenants. Thanks to everyone who has helped to support this project - and should you want to do more to create hope for these people, then join us to vote for Sango Bay in the competition
www.10tilforskel.dk - Here YOU can help without it costing anything and you can even help a lot by asking others to vote. Getting just 10 friends to vote, and you have done a huge good - especially if 80 others do the same, in which case we will be in the lead! But only if we all help out! It can easily be done!
5437 pair of shoes is something of a stack - here is a small excerpt of the pile

Time to try the shoe and see if it fits
A small flock, which now has shoes - many more are waiting in the background, it created less of a chaos when the tenant's residents realized that there were shoes for everyone!
They wait patiently for their turn
Some feet missing shoes, which can help to prevent diseases and disorders caused by insects, which likes feet!
A family on their way home ... now with shoes on!
